Local Packard people returned

to their roots on Saturday July 11, at

the fire department grounds in Ste-

vens, Pennsylvania. As the club did

in the early `70s, we first enjoyed our

picnics and then adjourned for some

fun.

The fun consisted of watch-

ing our friends try to perform simple

maneuvers with their Packards . . .

blindfolded. If you haven't tried it,

you can't realize how difficult it is.

Anyway, no Packards got dinged,

although a couple made an effort to es-

cape onto the public roadway. If you

weren't there, you missed a great time.
